All of my textile knowledge is from fire and water restoration.  Now, I work at a giant laundry facility and I can't believe how they "clean" some of these fabrics.

Linen is be far the most eco friendly, and still available.

No way, spend way too much energy and $$ ironing.
I have had some that don't need any ironing. It just depends on how they make the fabric.
I've taken a shit that didn't stink

The wrinkle factor of linen is over hyped when discussing sheet linen. Maybe I don't care about wrinkles as much.

It also has to do with how long it sits and how dry you dry it.

You know about laundry you know this man.

Reading the progression here there is no reference to sheets.  And yes, I'm shitfaced so the previous reference for BAMBOO I don't remember. ;P

And no Peng, I don't give a fuck if my sheets are wrinkled if they feel sweet.  Linen and feeling sweet has never been high on my list of rubbing my face in it.

Best feeling sheets to most people are sateen. Basically cotton that took a lye bath then neutralized with a quick acid dip. Makes it more awesomer.

Mercurizing or some shit.

Just doing Ford 5.4 spark plugs...

I'd say they are pulling heads or the engine. It takes longer to yank the cab than it does for me to do a plug and coil change on one of these... It is typically and hour and a half job.

Fuck that. I sleep on flannel sheets all year round. I hate the feeling of most sheets.

Matt I took a picture of the sheet the wife bought on our last cruise. Notice the price on the paper, she said that she only paid $79.99 for them with the ship coupon. They are very soft and I like them.

Lyocell is some nice stuff. The ones we have are cooler and smoother than the 800 count cotton sheets we had

Not discrediting the claim.  Am curious how they wash up and last though as wood fibers don't normally take to getting wet very well.  I'm a sweaty bastard too.

Crazy shit. It is basically rayon, from my understanding. Cellulose turned into thread then woven.

Not saying they are not awesome, just a new trend I haven't heard about.

I have always liked extra long staple cotton or linen.

Cotton? Flannel is usually just a sturdy weave that gets napped to make it softer. Sometimes napped twice.

It does make it super soft.

Sorry to turn the HOP into a textile and bed sheet discussion board. I have just got a bunch of questions about the bamboo lately at work.

Now I can say they are at least good enough for my buddy Nem.

I usually just say 350 minimum pima, supima, or Egyptian. If they are fancy fuckers then higher thread count and double check that if it says Egyptian it is ELS Egyptian and not what usually ships out.
