Welcome to the IHoP v.2

And as of today I'm going to quit taking customers. I'm done slaving away every afternoon. I'd rather sit in a chair in the backyard or go swimming. After 8 years of doing this I've had enough. My own personal projects are rotting away, my social life is partly hurt because I'm slaving away (I have little energy to go out after spending 4-5 hours in the afternoon sun slaving away for a customer) and my patience runs thin. The only positive thing about it is that I never get bored but I can do something else instead to keep my mind busy.

LoL that would be awesome.

The whole bamboo thing is weird, because I understand bamboo to be rayon when a fabric. Maybe not all bamboo fabric is rayon.

It's just some buzz is my guess. Puma cotton or really nice linen is great, but this whole bamboo thing is weird.

I've never even heard of this.  I am a fan of bamboo, but still don't see it as renewable.  Yes, it grows quickly, but man can kill anything and everything.

Another buy that is needed before is a camera. She wants a "compact" dslr. I'll probably have to go in the used market.

Defeats the purpose.  Point & shoot or DSLR.

Of course the caveat being if you can live with a single prime.

Like most things, I'd rather invest in something I can keep for a long time and grow into.

Then spend 90% of your budget on some glass and the last 10% on someones old ass DSLR

Linen is be far the most eco friendly, and still available.

No way, spend way too much energy and $$ ironing.

Spent all day tearing the 93 apart.  I felt bad doing it, but she's too rusty to save.  The guy was right when he said 3rd gear was toast.  I took it out to the road, did a big John Force burnout and puked the trans when it tried to go into 3rd.  Oh well.  I hope the cherry picker will lift the car up high enough so I can drop the engine versus pulling it.

I have had some that don't need any ironing. It just depends on how they make the fabric.

Just the one time on the boat when you tricked me with the cloudy wine coolers.

Seriously, people ask me this shit. More so now that tempurpedic pushes some "bamboo" sheets as awesome.

I do also know way too much about textiles in general. I can't hang with people in the industry but I know enough to pass for a fashion designer to those not informed.

The wrinkle factor of linen is over hyped when discussing sheet linen. Maybe I don't care about wrinkles as much.

It also has to do with how long it sits and how dry you dry it.

You know about laundry you know this man.
