Welcome to the IHoP v.2

Recommended Posts

I've been looking at getting a second car, cheapish, rear wheel drive and light. Have any of you guys had experience with the first gen Miata? Owner forums say that they are reliable, cheap and simple to work on and take abuse.

Seeing that competitions similar to autocross are starting to gain momentum here a Miata looks like a good platform to play with. Oh yeah, I'm short (6') so I probably fit well in the car.

They are pretty simple and easy.  Biggest issues are body roll and HP. wink.png

I didn't know they/some of them come with turbos. Perhaps a larger turbo, injectors, downpipe exhaust, big wing, and fuzzy dice for the HP.

Be forewarned; I will forever make fun of you for driving a bitch car.

I fixed body roll and poor braking on the Jeep, now it's time for fixing the power. Should be simpler in a Miata since people already tried everything. Plus I like snails :D

It's a temporary "relief" until I pony up some money for a 67-70 Mustang :)

I finally tried the new rear brake setup and with all the extra dive I can lock up the rear first

There are Grand Cherokees with rear disc brakes, a proportioning valve from that would fix it. Or an adjustable from Wilwood maybe?

I knew shit was gonna creep. Up on me and happen suddenly, but damn this is nuts.

J

What?

The timeline to leave here. I need to seperate all the ex's left over shit, get caught up on laundry, and clean the house as well as get everythng moved out of here all NLT the 18th with a shit ton of clearing too. People take half days on thursdays, and there isn't shit open on the weekends.

Add in going through all the shit and seeing how much didn't do the way I had planned, how many dreams I am walking away from unfullfilled. Watching my career and my marriage all die over the past 15 months has been a PITA.

J

Damn J. That is heavy!

Yes. Many GCs in the States have rear disc brakes.

TN.com order came in today. The powder is incredibly fine, resembles talcum powder in a way.

Usually makes for a smoother mix.

Never hurts to give it a little shake before first use.

I actually wonder if a company like TN or GNC could get away with it. Tricky part would be advertising.

It is but it isn't. All depends on who you get the info from.

I know it killed a few people's careers.

Give it a try brother. Custom mixes, and tons of choices on protein and other suppliments.

Keep in mind, if you get say 5 lbs of chocolate whey, its 5 lbs of whey, then they add the flavor and anything else you want on top of it. High quality shit too.

Yes, companies like TN did do that. Less common too.
