Neither can I. If it is anything like the APSM (which I'm sure it is) I should be just as impressed though. Loved the APSM I had.

Are the subs the same as audiopipe subs. I might get some 10s for my dads boat.

Cone area is king in a boat as you don't have the benefit of cabin gain. Go big!

If it was my boat I definitely would but it's my dad's and he isn't into the whole big setups. Plus we don't have much room with all the storage compartments filled. We have a small area in tho back left corner that could have the size of 2 10s. We have 2 alpine E 10s in 2 separate shitty boxes. He bought it like that for $40. The subs are not in the best condition.

I've got a 15" Xcon ported under the console in my ski boat. Just took some clever cutting :)

You got pics? I'd like to see that! I mean he likes the bass and he thinks the 2 10 Es sounded pretty good, but too me ehh no lol. I was just thinking something like vvme's would be good since they're cheap and not really going to be pushed hard at all. I think this in a custom box would do very well for him and be good enough for me.

Sorry, no pics of the boat setup will be posted. It's protected by an alarm, but obviously no steel/glass so details aren't going on the web. Wouldn't matter anyways as all you'd see is a flat wall of the box right where your feet go to. Basically I gutted the space under the helm and built a box to fit in the nook and crannies. It is slightly smaller than recommended, but barely. Woofer fires at the side of the hull as this buys you both stealth and a little natural bass boost. Makes nice waves too.

Ohh gotcha. The boat is in storage for winter. When we get it back home I'll look at allbthe compartments and see what I could do. If nothin I'll jus stick with a pair of 10s. Thanks m5.

OP, why did you order gaskets from fixmyspeakers ? Aren't those subs new ?

What benefits are you waiting for ?

Just curious :)

Nothing really, as you can tell the subs dont come with a standard gasket so im sure thats the reasoning for them.

Thanks. Definitely keep me posted on that. I have heard these don't like the lows to much. Hopin the bigger box and lower tuning will compensate for that. I will let you know for sure.

Doors are done. Sound pretty damn good for a total of $150 invested including deadener, amp, mids, and tweets. Amp is still on 0 gain from the Skar component set. Gonna do some more tuning tomorrow.

Pics.

Took a couple of vids but didn't realize my new phone was set to TV quality not full HD :banghead3:. So the quality isn't as good as it should be. Will get a vid later in HD.

All loaded up and ready to go for in the morning.

CAM00077.jpg

This will probably be how I eventually mount the amp. RCA's aren't long enough now.
