comp amp for two d2 fi ssd subs....what u think?

Recommended Posts

electrical system consists of 220 amp alt., 2 hc 2400 kinetik, and the big three completed. I have a 2000 blazer, box is built to vehicles peak tuning frequency. What would be the best amp to use for competition in the street 3 class for meca. Price of amp is not to much of an issue, just looking for something to get the most from the subs. All help would be appreciative.

Cone area + fuse rating X10 under 2000. Cone area is 226 so you'll need about a 175 amp fuse or less. I THINK that those are the only restrictions.

Get the biggest amp you can get for the money you want to drop and then buy a ton of fuses to test where your gain can be to keep from blowing your fuses.

What size subs do you have?

Their 12" subs sorry for leaving that put. I've got my eye on the saz-1500d. I just don't know if it will get me in the 150's. I had two mtx 9500's running off 2000 watts and hit a 148.3. But I won't even mention what amp I was running, to embarrassed. Lol. Are their any other amps u guys would recommend?

BTW way those are the rules in which I'm held to.

That was my other option. I don't know if it will hold off on a 175 amp fuse. Has anyone done testing at .5 ohm to see what kinds of wattage it puts out?
