Stupid question about Power Wire

Ive currently got a single 0 gauge wire from front to back batteries, Will adding another run of 0 gauge increase or help anything? Im thinking of getting another yellowtop .

Ive currently got 2 yellowtops in the back. the big one and smaller one

yes it will cut down on resistance.

But the real question is do you need it.; which depends on your setup.

Stock Alt, Hifonics 2500.1 amp, MB Quart 125.4 amp, with front battery, and 2 yellowtops in back. all 0 guage wires for power and ground. 4 guage wires to all amps

Instead of stuffing more batteries back there, an alt would be a far better investment.

That is in the future....I know someone who will upgrade my stock alt to a 275 amp for around $250

Well i=e/r

i=current

e=voltage

r=resistance

v and i are your friend and want alot of them

v is like your mom you can only take so much of her....or until you get to like 15 volts, but you dont need to worry about that

I is like your best GF and you want as much of them as you can get.

resistance is like her hater friends that get in the way of you two being together the less of them the better.

resistance is stopping the full potential of your alt or battery from reaching its destination typically.

So the more runs you have the less resistance and more current you will get to your amp.
