Motorcycle audio question RE speakers@amps soundigital or ??

Recommended Posts

I'm starting a new bagger build that will have four 6x9's four tweeters and an amp in the fairing. I was wondering if anyone had any luck with soundigital ? The reason I wanted to try this amp was due to its small size since its going in the fairing . I know not everyone is familiar with motorcycles etc but i'm limited in my options regarding number of speakers and size of amp so if anyone has any good sounding combos etc let me know . Right now im leaning towards focal or JL speakers and a alpine amp .

Thanks

i take it the bike is a cruiser? You have way more room for options.

But you said in the fairing which has me confused because ppl usually fit them in thier saddle bags.

Never seen SD on any bikes usually just RF, Kicker, JL, alpine ect but probably because its older guys that usually drive them and they shop at Bestbuy and what not.

Yes bike is Street Glide Doing it up 26 inch rim etc speakers in the fairing not the bags though . Doing a custom inner fairing if that doesn't work out two 6x9 in fairing one in each bag but I don't think I have to go that route Need some recs on good sounding compatible equipment . I also liked the fact how small the SD was but I am not familiar with the brand .

Thanks

A typical Motorcycle Install we do at the shop I work at on Bikes with fairing, Focal 165A1 in the fairing with an Arc Audio Mini KAR125.2 running either off the stock radio or an aftermarket. I have found that Alpines seem to sound the best as far as an aftermarket radio. We have done JL Amps, and the Rockford Minis, but have had out best luck with Arc Amps. Focals sound the best for the money.
