6 SSA DCON 15's Walled/92 Chevy

Recommended Posts

The Dcons are in beast mode. Anybody care to guess the numbers?

Please run some all thread between each sub from to back and use lock washers, flat washer and nuts. If a sub pops out full tilt you will unload the closest one and probably blow 2 subs at once. I hate to say it again but I honestly wouldn't even play it until I did that if it was mine. You could probably put a shoulder in it around the port and cave in the entire front baffle the way it is now.

K watts09 i watch the video, makes alot of sense, never looked at it that way, i dont really have a way of bracing it with ready rod but if i find a way i probably will, screws broke cause they were drywall screws haha its all i had at the time. and to everyone else ill have numbers in like a week or so

Take some thicker all thread or threaded pipe and cut it so it will fit in there (maybe 1/4 in short) then get a threaded foot for each side and screw them on. Put the brace in and unscrew each side by hand against the wood till its very tight. And put 4 screws in each foot to hold in place. You see the same thing in a smaller scale on the stripper poles guys use in major 4th orders. This will will help and I bet it will be louder when braced properly.

Any questions just ask. I will help any way I can

Or could just use wooden dowels or any other strong wood that has smooth edges. Doesn't have to me metal rod, but bracing is a big factor here. Didn't even notice there was none, nice call Swift.

Looks legit man! I love seeing builds like this!

The high dollar huge power systems get boring after a while.

Wow! Nice build man! I love the way you cleaned out the vehicle first also, great job! Looks really loud. I know 2 12" dcons got silly loud, I could only imagine 6 15s :o

Welded up some box braces today, there's a noticeable difference, the DCON's slap harder than before, the pictures aren't the best but my phone didn't want to focus in the dark. i should have some numbers tomorrow hopefully.

Nice! Interested to what you can do on the meter. Careful with that though. You're just going to want to get a higher number... then soon replace Dcons with some Zcons :D

I think you should rebuild and go to a side port it'll improve your numbers drastically.

And since you're metering outlaw, move the mic to the kick panel opposite of the open door. Should help as well.

Awesome, living in AZ most of my building happens in the winter. Without changing equipment I bet you can get to the 150 mark with a rebuild. Good luck!
