How could anyone answer that question? We don't know how many lows you want hit. Please restate your question with measurable parameters. Sorry, not trying to be a jerk.

Oh jeez m5 can never just move along can you? Like rap music... Put on..them lows... From a sealed box? Possible with authority and get loud?

You haven't given the subs or the room available. So no one can tell you.

You might be using JL w7 and get a f3 in the low 30's sealed. Or you might be using $40 pioneers and might only get a f3 of 40 in a sealed box.

Or the "tard" that says side ports don't sound good might build you a shitty designed sealed box for the W7 and you might end up with a f3 in the 40's anyway.

We needs specifics.

To focus on the lows you will want ported. Big output requires more space and cone area than you have the space for. Some trucks sound best with port on the side. Find another shop.

Plan on sundown e series tens. Aq 750 bench seats. Its gonna be hard to fit 2 cubes im sure.

11 inch depth. On bottom 5 on top. Length 46inch height 36 inches

I took off 1.5 inches on the depth (I figured you didn't account for cone excursion) and I get roughly 4.25 cubic feet internal volume.

I don't know the specs on the subs but I'm sure ported would be workable

Any possibility you could maybe workout a design for me as this will be the first ive made as my box for my btl n2 was built for me. Just for two ten sundown e series.

If I get a little time I'll work up a few different alignments and you can input them in Winsd if you woul like to look at their response curve.

Below are two popular enclosures that would fit in the room you provided. There were a few parameters that weren't listed on the Sundown site so I used a FEA program to calculate them so they may be a tad off but close enough that it shouldn't matter.

The top is a BB4 alignment: 2.08 cubic feet tuned to 36 hertz with a f3 of 32.89

The bottom is a C4 alignment: 3.88 cubic feet tuned to 28.9 hertz with a f3 of 25.76 hertz.

Because you are looking for the increased lower end I'd go with the C4 alignment. Group delay is much higher than the BB4 but it's not much higher than 28ms and it's only 20ms at 20 hz so it should be fine. Using Small's minimum port area formula you will want to use (2) 4 inch ports or 25.12 square inches of port 19 inches long.

With sub displacement this should just fit and give you room between the sub and seat as I took off an inch and a half of the depth measurements you gave.

I'd put the subs on the driver side and exit the port toward the passenger side.

This is just my preferences someone else might have something else they might want to add.

your deminsions would be:

46 inches wide

36 inches high

3.5 inches deep at top

9.5 inches deep at bottom

using 3/4 inch MDF gives you 4.44 cubic feet internally

Extended range to "hit the lows" is easily attainable in a sealed enclosure. it does NOT require a vented enclosure.

gain plots with 1,2,3 and 4 cubic foot sealed boxes along with the other ported boxes if you'd like to go that route.
