placement for new hertz speakers

Recommended Posts

Hi, so I'm doing a build of two icon 15's in my dodge Dakota crew cab, I have one set of amped hertz hsk components in my doors and just got a second set and wondering if I should put.a second set in the front doors or the second set in the rear doors? I'll have them both amped with about 75rms each. Looking for sound quality and what will have best staging

Thanks,

Some like rear fill, personally I don't.

Adding a second set to the front multiplies your sound sources, and that isn't going to help with staging.

OK so maybe if I put them in back and just leave them lower it'd be best? Any suggestions on front stage? Additional midbass 8's etc?

you really haven't given us any of your goals?

some ideas though:

If you looking to improve the overall sound, sell both sets of components and get something better.

or if you happy with one set, sell the other and put the money back in the bank

what deadening have you done? if you haven't done much, check out sounddeadenershowdown.com. im sure you whole vehicle will need it.
