Whats a good amp for 500 rms at 2ohms just got big three done and stock alt in single cab. I may just be a noob but ia it better to run at 2 ohms rathrr than 1 to not tax the hell out of my electric

Either load will be fine. 500 RMS is not that much power, so you should be fine.

Class D amps are smaller and more efficient which makes them good choices for a sub amp, BUT at 500 watts RMS you shouldn't notice any drag on your electrical, especially since you have had the big 3 done. If you look at this pic you can see that it says mono and points to the outside inputs. Put the positive in the positive and the negative in the negative.

You don't need anything crazy, 8 gauge will do but I would probably use 4.
