Can you make it a rectangular box or does it need to be wedge shaped?

You have 46" of depth in a Tacoma? Will this be in place of the center console?

Single cab is hard to design unless you have it in front of you or have really solid measurements. Especially wedge shaped.

You can download Torres Calculator (free) and play around with it.

Displacement is .10 ft^3

Sub depth is 6"

Cut out diameter is 9 1/4"

Outside diameter is 10 1/2"

Shoot for around 33-35hz tuning and around 25 in^2 of port area

1-1.25 ft^3 net

Usually port firing to the side works best for a single cab.

It should sound good. But it's all about expectations and what you think is loud.

Amp will depend on budget and your electrical.

Haven't personally ran a JL amp before. Tons of options out there.
