plan on running about 7500 watts on 1 zcon 15

That would be fine for a quick burp, but 30 seconds? You're gonna see magic smoke for sure. You can't run 3x a sub's rms and expect it to not care.

You most certainly can under ideal circumstances. The question posed here is too vague though.

I could do 5k for around 3 minutes full tilt for KAOS runs in MWSPL... but they would get stanky.

i had my 2 ssa zcon 12's getting 4300watts and they would get stanky after a few mins.... i also ran 1 ssa zcon 15 in 3.5 cubes @30hz on 2400watts and it never got stanky even after beating its brains out for 7 months lol strong ass subs

if you make a zcon last off of 7500w worth of amps for 30seconds, then either you are using 1 large ass enclosure or are playing right around tuning only.

Either way.. the zcon will obviously be no where near 7500w of real power but it can be done.

I used to run 7kw to 1kw drivers.. not for 30 seconds but i'm sure with a little tweaking it could have been done.. but then they wouldn't really be receiving that kind of power either.

I could see it taking 7500watts of clean power for a SB run...... But expect fucked coils after.

I wouldn't for 30 seconds. Maybe for 3-5, long enough for the meter to recognize.

Keywords there are "ideal circumstances". Hardly anything in car audio is ideal lol. Could he? Sure, if he was getting a crap ton of rise. But after 30 seconds of that kind of abuse that sub will surely need a recone of sorts...I know there are variables to consider but that is a huge amount of power for one sub either way.
