Yes, Duran does not have a 12" GCON cap mold yet. So I peeled off the sticker and sent it to him.

Yessir. The design will be slightly different but will still say SSA GCON.

This is for someone else. I like to do some enclosure building for people local to me from time to time. This is my first install for a GCON. Excited to see the end result.

@dbsupra, I would guess that the two pieces are placed at the weakest points. Which should be sufficient.

^^^ basically. I do not add 45s to an enclosure design unless they are asked for. The gain from 45s is minimal and this being a "daily" system it will not be noticeable.

I can appreciate that. Just for me, minimal gain or not, it's just easier to do 2 rips with the saw to make a 45. Thought maybe there was a more specific reason.

What size round over for the port? Or are you doing by hand?

What size round over for the port? Or are you doing by hand?

I am going to use a 3/4" roundover bit with the router.
