amp check for mag

Recommended Posts

i dont think my car will handle my 1200d amp..

if i switch to a 600-700watt amp will that still get the 15 MAG moving good.

any harm done underpowering it?

# rms power (1ohm): 1200w x 1

# rms power (2ohm): 600w x 1

# rms power (4ohm): 300w x 1

thats from ikesound

XT-2000D

i may be sellling mine sometime within the next week or so, i'm pretty sure its probably right on 800w @1ohm and any car should handle it and a front stage amp. my alt is only like 85 amps i think.

i've got way too much equipment i've acquired and i want to sell it all and get a single multi channel amp to run my components and a sub. The amp is really nicely built and i've been very pleased with it but i just don't have room for 2 amps where i want to install them.
