Need help ASAP!

I think my remote wire port is going out on my amp. Is this an easy fix? I have it rigged right now with a switch but would like to actually get it fixed. I need help guys

Please, explain exactly what seems to be the problem. The amp or the head unit has a problem with the remote wire? Why do you have it set up with a switch?

i had the switched install because i just ran a small wire from the power to remote because the amp would only turn on if i did that. so since there was nothing to turn the amp off i installed a switch some my amp wasn't continuously on but i found a solution to the problem. I cut some new wire and it works perfect

If jumping it from the power wire fixed the problem, then the remote input on the amp wouldn't be the problem.....the wire itself or remote output on the HU would be.

I found the issue. I part in the remote wire go cut under my side panels over time. so i just bought a new remote wire and works perfect!
