in your opinion whick is a better batt for every day use. i have been thinking about 3 SHURiKEN 140ah batts, but how do they compare to XS Power D3100's? i want something powerfull as hell and very durable for longevity. i know how they look on paper, but how do they perform in the real world

I've read that shuriken batts are great but over time they can't keep voltage (as with any batts) but its been said that these die quicker than eg kinetik, xs power.

XS did a comparison and the the Shuriken held its own.

thanks for the replys guys! i think the shurikens will work just fine then. i'm slowly rounding things up for a little build here for the H2. it's not gonna be insane, just something that will be very pleasing to the ears. still can't decide between a T-line or a sealed enclosure though and thats hanging me up on power i'll be using and sub selection. i have the headunit, components and component amp(s) chosen and mostly ordered. choosing the enclosure and subs are the hard part for me ATM, but it should be good

No, they are not. Kinetik has nothing to do with Shuriken.

Wasn't saying you were intentionally lying, just telling you the info is flat out wrong. Kinetik has no association to Shuriken.

Sounds to me like the rep was either misinformed, you misunderstood, or he was trying to sell you on his product by associating it with a product already established in the market.

Shuriken might use the same build house, supplier or contractor somewhere upstream (I don't know exactly off hand), but even then that doesn't mean they are the same, similar or equivalent. In fact, they aren't any of the above. Just at the basics, the weights of the batteries are different (that's not the only difference, just one example).

What's the rep's name? If you don't want to say it in the open, feel free to PM the info. Seriously, I would like to know.
