thanks guys. this is gonna be a pretty basic build. the car has the bose system which sounds pretty good and has decent bass. But i need a little extra.

As someone who has personal experience with the 187/LI/Death Row lines, the LI is impressive. A friend of mine has an LI 15 dual 4 in his Subaru on an Audiopipe APSM1500 at 2 ohm (900 watts give or take) in 3 cubes tuned to 31. It's very, very nice, good output, very musical, and digs just as deep as my Death Row 15. The only difference between mine and his is mine is a lot louder, but that's due to the power difference.

You'll love the LI, I don't think there's a better sub in that price range.

got a really good deal on it. going to be in a sealed enclosure. the trunk space in these cars are really limited.

Underpowering isn't bad, as long as the signal is clean. The tendency of people to up the gain to make up for lack of power is where trouble comes in...

this isnt the common IA build. I just wanted to use a sub that not everyone has.
