Lantz's f150 zcon build

whats up guys? i been doing some upgrades to my electric the past few weeks and i think im about done (for the time being haha) here is what i have done for the new build so far.....

HU: sony xplode (the nice one lol)

speakers: stock but that is my next step

Amp: 1 aq2200 running .5ohm (only until i can afford a 2nd 2200 and strap them)

Subs: 2 12" ssa zcons

(NEW!)

Electric: 250amp alt. ( Thanks!),1 optima red top under the hood and 2 deka 9a31's in the back, all 0 gauge and big 3 is done.

i will be posting all the new updates to the system here!

yes i sold the massive 3k already and trust me, i have my reason.... aq2200 should be here by this weekend. im installing the new alt. and doing the big 3 tomorrow. also going to pick up a optima red top for under the hood tomorrow and getting a deka 9a31 this sunday up in columbus. have another deka 9a31 in the mail as well :)

got the alt from... a good friend ;) lol and a new box is in store and should be done next week. i just got tired of farting around and trying to make my electrical work so i just went all out lol. i came across some cash and went big. ( actually someone FINALLY bought my old iraggi alt. from my ranger so thats where most the money came from)

well i was at the hospital all day seeing my 1 day old nephew smile.png and when i finally got home tonight, i couldnt find a 3/4 drive ratchet to take my belt off to do my alt. so thats going to have to wait till i get off work tomorrow. but in the mean time, i did put in my new optima red top:) i know things aint pretty right now but its getting there....

what the battery? yeas, it has a little clamp on the bottom of my battery holder that hold it down.

well i must say the alt is doing it job :) i can definantly tell a difference in just the way the subs hit like how hard lol. no light dimming anymore!!! i did a good test on it all today... a was at a steady 14.19v @2000rpm at full tilt. im please to say the least haha. now just gotta get my 2 deka 9a31's in and a new box (a MUST) and hopefully that will keep me satisfied for awhile happy.png

Those 12"s look massive !!!

What was wrong with your box ? Port too small ? I can't really see how it is.

What brand is the big grey amp ? You'd rather run one (or two) AQ 2200 ?

the box is like 1.5 cubes each and tuned way to high for my liking. the amp (temporary) in a massive audio 3k and yeah im planning on doing 1 [email protected] ohm untill i can afford a second one and then link them together ;)

1.5 seem small. But I don't know what the Zcons like.

You're going for 2-2.5 ft3 per sub ?

What tuning ?

those should sound good in there.,. my 15 Xcon pounds in my 06 FX4 f-150 supercrew.. now just add some good components in the front doors and it will sound unreal
