dc power offers a 270xp ALT and mechman a 320a ALT for my car im trying to power 8k plus rms watts two fosgate t2500 and one fosgate t1000,4 and two xs power d3100 and yellow top under the hood which of those two is best for me ?

Have you checked out singer alts from mike singer? Prices are less expesive than both and are great from what I've HEARD. I haven't used any of the 3 but I will most likely be getting a singer alt for my trailblazer. He has lifetime warranty.

not really understanding the question since I gave you the product sheet and pricing for it..... ask around and you will find out...... also I can get you a 275 amp with lifetime warranty on labor for 500 shipped to ur door with fast build time and great customer service.

why,... the cooling of the alternator is reduced by 50% .... let alone the reduced output

As I stated before, DC is you want to wait for a year. Mechman couldn't offer me enough Amps at idle, nor could singer at that time, but now they have a new 6g model, so Singer would be a great choice. But I would also recommend Ohio Gen, that is who I'm running with.

Purchased two alts from DC and have not had any issues whatsoever. Yeah the build lead time is alittle slow but I sure as hell wouldnt go with another company.

The vids you post walking around showing flex was your car not at idle? Or are you running a high idle controller? Just curious.
