JB weld that bitch. I had a basket cracked pretty bad but the soft parts were fine so I JB welded it and clamped it and the current owner hasn't bitched about it yet. I also hung the basket by the broken section for a few days to make sure it wouldn't break. JB weld is some awesome stuff.

I'd like to learn how to recone but not on a sub worth this much lol I don't want to screw up a nice sub ya know? And ya I may just jb weld the basket atleast to last till after slammology in June. Then maybe after that ill recone them. Its gonna cost some cash lol

Yeah man play them until they give up or you have the extra money and then recone. Watch this recone closely and then you will be ready to diy next time.

my zcon 15 were nice and shinny copper looking ( i know there aluminum) but these are darkkk lol i put that 12 box i had in the video into my truck and that box is a lot bigger than i expected so im taking it out and putting the box they came with back in ( about 1.5cubes each ported :/ )

That has to hurt! Try the JB weld idea on the basket and see how it holds up.

Its to big lol. I just traded my $150 aq3500.1 for a massive audio 3k (3k@2ohm) and 250 cash. So now I have a amp for them, and I also have cash for a nice custom box. I'm going to save $400 or so and Ttade the massive and cash for a nice big 2 ohm amp. Hopefully before slammology in June

anyone have a good idea on cF for each sub i should shoot for and at what hz to tune the new box to? i was thinking 2.5-3cubes each tuned at 32hz???? just a idea

get a kicker warhorse .... 10k @ 2 ohms...

not sure on cf each sub but i would tune around 35hz....

lol had to man. i taking the cash i getting from the deal and putting it all into a nice ass box and ill still have a solid 2600watts to give them until i can afford a nice 2ohm amp.

good to see ur still around haha havent heard from u in awhile
