Probably you can use your ignition turn on lead and a relay to use it as a turn on

Im pretty sure I would have to find it from the piece plugging into the amp no? I dont think I wanted to cut anything going into the factory amp.

Copied from the manual:

"GTO™ Great Turn On: No need to look for a trigger wire. The LC2i turns on all by itself. Just hook up the speaker level inputs and as soon as you turn on the factory audio system the LC2i will power up as well. After the LC2i turns itself on, it provides a 12 volt trigger output to turn on your amplifier. A Jumper which you can reach from the end panel allows you to set this feature on/off for specialized installations. The factory default setting for the GTO™ circuit is always ON."

Cool nice find man I'm probably going with that one. Unless there is some off name brand that specializes specifically for the A4 B8 application... But who am I kiddin..

im pretty sure that you will still need a remote turn on for the amplifier anyways, someone please correct me if im wrong.

i also bought my LOC from sonixelectronics.com but i got the stinger fixed line out converter, its a lot cheaper than the audiocontrol which i havent used but the stinger works well, in both my car and my friends. only problem is that the inputs are really small, i barely got 16gauge wire to fit and also they have tiny screws on them. just make sure you tightly secure the wires. as for the connections itself, they are just speaker inputs and a ground input for noise, but i never encountered any issues with noise pickup.

Ive heard LOC may have less power on the low end of the hz spectrum. Do you have this issue?
