I messed up maybe

I read around a bit and read a whole thread in here and went out and bought 35 feet of 3/0 for my car. This stuffs freakin huge. It looks like a black garden hose and makes my stinger expert look like a spaghetti noodle :-(

Wait. maybe it would be easier to run under the car? I mean the jacket on this stuff seems like it would be impervious to anything.

Might be able to, or run it through some big conduit / plastic housing mounted under the car.

lol,. yeh. Not a lot of space amywhere on the car. This weekend maybe the weather wil hold and Ill swap the alternator. Im gonna try to do it without catching my car on fire.

What alternator size did you go with? Dose it have any text on the front?

Its a cs144 but it has the rectifiers hagin off the back and stuff. Oh hey. The pulley on the new alt is a little smaller. Will the tensioner make u for that or do I need a shorter belt?

Might be ok. Just have to install and see. I got rid of the tensioner all together.

I bought a 270a HO direct bolt application, and had to get a smaller belt.
