Larger size will increase efficiency and lowend extension. It will also decrease power handling slightly by providing less cone control. Obviously, the increased efficiency will offset the lower power handling.

so are you saying a in the larger box the sub wouldnt be able to hold as many watts?

i need to fit a MAG 15 in here

what would sound better the bigger or smaller or should i just go in the middle to get the best of both worlds?

Any woofers power handling will go down the more you increase the sealed box volume. The more you increase volume, the more power handling decreases. If you're looking for a definitive answer other than what we have suggested go with 2.6 cubic feet and call it a day.

BTW: What year is your teggy? ;)
