Going to put this here so I can refer to it when I am ready.

 

Sealed box is going to be 18"Hx40"Wx14"D =4.6 ft^3 -.22 for sub = 4.38ft^3

 

This box will have window style bracing on each side of the sub which should bring things very close to 4ft^3

 

I do like the overall size of the box and the amount of room I will have left.

I'm very curious about how it will sound sealed, cant wait for a video

 

what made you decide to go with the 15 vs the 18? wanted to keep some cargo room?

Yes, we travel a fair amount and need cargo room. The sealed box more than likely will be my everday box and the ported box will be my summer box. Sealed I am thinking is should get rather nasty too.

Im a big fan of sealed, wish I lived closer so I could maybe hear it.. alaska sucks haha. 

Im sure those xcons were great, Im hoping to run a xcon 15 sealed in my other truck while Im doing the body work on the bronco. If the money is there that is..

Thanks, it flexs good on country too. I have suprised many people playing those two songs and yes that last song does not get played very often.

You know there comes a point at which you get the level of sound you want, but never realize all the bad that comes from it. I value my hearing very much and my 4runner as well. When it feels like pencils being shoved in your ears, your eye are tearing, and it is hard to breath well it just might be a little loud. Not to mention you see how the 4runner just shivers in fear of the Evil...

 

I do believe the Evil in a sealed box will have brutal out put at about 4 cubes. That is another things on my list.
