Strapping atomic amps

Recommended Posts

Sooooo I feel like a total noob lol. Most amps that can be strapped have a master/slave switch. My atomic AT3000.1s do not. But they are strappable.

Now I assume these strap like a saz3000 due to being almost exactly the same amp. Don't post up pointing out differences or bashing my shit. These amps are badass.

From what I can see, saz3000 amps do not have a master/slave switch either.

Referring to this thread

the layout of my atomics are exactly the same minus the fuses of course. On the control/RCA side my amps are exactly the same.

So I guess they automatically switch when strapped? Or is there a hidden switch somewhere?

does it have more then 2 rca inputs? I had the cresendo and the saz 3ks, and they were clearly marked. there were 1 rca in and 1 out on the right side of the amp. no switch on. the master amp use the top out and on the slave use the bottom in

pretty sure the amp has two rca's one is an input from the h/u (top one) and the other one is an output to another amp (bottom one) as for linking them like the SAZ series I don't know I think you have to gain match

best thing to do is just give them a call and have them send you the actual manual via e-mail or just ask there tech support how to do it! but If I was you I would get the manual via e-mail that way you can ask us questions of things you don't understand as the manual says.

Run it the same as the Sundown as they share a very similar board and same buildhouse.

I looks exactly like the SAZ amps, BR in and BR out. the layout is identical to the SAZ3000

I'm guessing it straps just like the SAZ amps with no switch.

BR OUT from the master to the slave BR IN, both - speaker outputs wired together and the + speaker out puts from the master are + and the + output from the slave are -

I assume that's how it goes, nothing more?

I don't think gain matching in needed with these, they've yet to respond to my calls or email but its only been a day and a half lol.

I saw the AT3000.1s strapped in a fs thread on caco, asked that guy if it was the same as saz amps, so I'm waiting on a reply

He just emailed me back on caco, its done the same way as saz amps are. no switching or gain matching. br out to br in both negs together, master is the positive amp slave is the neg amp.
