You need a DMM ( digital multi meter)

Just put the + on the VC's + lead and the - on the VC's - lead.

oh and with that DMM you need to measure resistance

where could i get one and how much would it cost???

for what ur wanting to do, a cheap one from walmart would work, about $14.

like mentioned above, what u are going to be testing for is resistance, so u'll set the dmm to ohm (most will not only give u a reading but will also chirp to let u know the connection is complete.) teh reading u'll want to pay attention to as well. what configuration are ur subs? that is, are they dual 2ohm, dual 4, what? with that info, we'll be able to tell u what reading (or close to it) ur dmm should show to let u know ur subs are fine.

wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee :slayer:

when u test them with the dmm...

seperately u'll want to see either 2 ohm or 8 ohm (or something real close)

together u'll want to see either 1ohm or 4 ohm (or something real close)

if u get anything else...something is more then likely wrong. let us know...
