we are having a good number of spam accounts coming from a mail.ru name, and I am curious if someone could run a check on it and where it is?

it need be might need to just do a ban on the whole thing (if that is possible), just trying to keep the board running smooth

Imagine that spam accounts from a free Russian webservice. I'd go ahead and ban it. If you need a translator Russian happens to be the only non-English language I speak.
