Junk. Have had one sitting at home, slowly trying to fix that piece since December. Power plug broke, fixed that, now the damn thing doesn't work at all. Worst idea ever to volunteer to fix it.

Toshiba makes nice laptops ...

The new Sony VAIO screens look great and are fairly inexpensive (compared to the 2005 models), although I've noticed that last year's models had quite a few issues with dead pixels (I work at a computer shop now) ...

the goal is a moderate cost small 13" or smaller screen with normal features, nothing jazzed up
