is this possible????

run both my zcon 15 (3" coil, 2250rms) and this custom sub (4" coil, 2000rms) in one system? im thinking its not a good idea but i figured id ask....

Not a good idea at all.

i thought thats the answer id get. o well. i still want to get the sub re coned and it may take the place of the zcon for a week or two before sale... but not perminantly.

Use this driver as an opportunity to build you own. There are many soft parts available and even software programs to help.

idk about all that... hell this sub is only the second sub i have ever takin apart before. the first one was a rockford p3 15 lol. but anyways yeah idk about building my own.. it would be pretty damn sick though....

Dude! You could start your own speaker company. Think about it.

Back on topic.. if you do recone it IMO it will go for more as its original parts.

You can't just throw shit together and expect to sound good...

Reconing is a fairly simple process, and did it for the first time yesterday myself

Unless the person giving you the soft parts can tell you what the parameters will be other then it will handle 2000 watts it will be a complete waste of time.
