help with my solo x 10

i recently bought an 04 mustang gt.. didnt realize that the trunk is really limited on space. has room for a decent size box but getting it in would be trouble because the opening isnt very big either.. i have an audioque 2200 and a dual 2 ohm solo x 10.. anyone who has done a build in a mustang 99-04 please help me out.. im tryin to design a box that will fit but still be large enough for the X... or would it be best to sell it and get some sa-8s or something similar

The issue will be getting it into the trunk.

Why buy a GT then put 100Lbs woofer in there? Lol

Build the box to slide thru the seat opening.

The seat hole isnt very big. You may have to remove panels to allow more space. Or you can dO a little bit of hacking to allow more space. On my 2011 I was only able to fit about 10" of height

You have to remove the seat back. About 6 bolts and you'll gain about three more inches.

yea my plan was to go through the back seat which still isnt very big.. but thats probably my only option..

went looking for a used car under 12k with low millage.. found an 04 gt with 29k for 11,000.. too good to pass it up..not planning to race it just keep it clean and sounding good
