Recommended Posts

Well I have had this thing for a little while now, and yesterday i had a fire lit under my................... Anyways i decided to install this thing in my old box i had my ICON 10 in, dont remember exact specs on it right now. But powering it is a Sundown SAZ-1500. I am working on a new enclosure that will be ported through the rear arm rest (blowthorugh style i like to call it) Vehicle is a 2001 BMW 330i. On to the pics and vids.

Looks good! What do you think of its performance. How does it compare to the icon in the same box?

That is a lot of internal flex from just a 10 ported.

Well i think it is pretty close to about the same output, possibly more as i am able to push the amp more getting more power out of it. Thing certainly wants more power. I wasnt able to put the meter to it yet, but will monday, hopefully. Enclosure design seems to restrict alot of the performance though.

If you are talking about where the arm rest is on the back seats, yes it does now, a long while back i had cut out the section for it. And i am working on a box that will be porting through that section.

Yea it was the only enclosure that i had sitting around that would work, the bandpass i was gonna try out was way to small all around, the sub wouldnt even fit in the front opening! But yes new design is getting worked. And would like to try and upgrade electrical like i was saying to run a 2500 to this little beast, lets see how much the wife would hate that one!! :D
