Designing my box for my ZCON 18 this is what I came up with, does this look right to you guys?

Its going to be low as hell with such a large port and low tuning.

"Violent" comes to mind ;) going on my 3500 at 1 ohm...

ends up around 7.5 feet, bracing with allthread will drop the displacement down a bit.

Your sketch up is not accurate, port is not the same width the whole way and is longer then 29".

This thing should be nasty with the power/volume you plan to use. My brother is using a SAZ3k on his 18" Zcon in only 6^3' and it's impressive.

You beat me to it.

I've never used that box calculator before, but the port length dimensions on the calculator don't make sense either.

That's not taking end correction into account which would shorten the physical length of the port.

The values look backwards to me, or is this the way that program works?

Also after woofer and bracing displacement keep in mind that you'll be closer to ~37-38 tuning.

Looks like it'll be awesome once it's finished. :drink40:
