I'm sure I will be hated for asking this but I have tried using the search bar to find this out but what is the big three everyone is talking about?

3 wires added to your stock wiring.

1 from your alt to bat posttive

1 from neg to body ground

1 from ground to ground on the engine

People usually run it in 4 or 1/0 gauge

Don't replace the stock wiring, just add to it.

liljestrand is correct, it may be slightly easier to understand now. This is probably the single best upgrade you can do in this hobby. It's cheap and easy on most vehicles.

Added just the alt to batt positive wire on my truck. And i see like a .3v drop at full tilt on a 30hz tone. No clipping of course. With stock everything. minus the fact that i believe the battery that was in my truck when i got it, and still is, i believe may be a deep cycle boat battery. has like 800 cold cranking amps and 1200 cranking amps... :peepwall: :peepwall:
