New box for 3 8s

What would the ohm load be for 3 sets of 4 ohm vc's

multiple different ohm loads.

all parallel equals

.667 ohms

all subs run parallel then in series

6 ohms

all subs series then run in parallel

2.667 ohms

all series subs then series run in box

24 ohms

if its still the SA8 dual 4s.

if its just single voice coil 4 then its

parallel

1.33 ohms

series

12 ohms

Well what i really should find out it will my amp be stable at the lower ohm loads. I have the calc. stuff for ohms just kind of lazy on figuring it out after doing the math for my box.

So here's a new update on this system i have changed my mind a few times and went back and forth on what i wanted to do. So i am now doing 4 sa8 dual 4's in a new box i have been working on.

There will be some plexi and a few other little things i plan on doing to it.

As for an amp i believe i am going with the hifonics colossus. Going to wire each pair to 1 ohm and run them off both channels.

On another note i spent the weekend doing a few things to the car.

That's my 2 year old helping me roll out the fat mat.

Next step will be picking up some truck bed liner and doing the out side of my roof and putting some cld tiles on the inside of it.

Stuck down really good i was having issues pulling it back up to move it around a little when it was just laying on the floor. But we will see how it holds up.

It does not seem like the old fat mat every one was talking about, there's no smell it sticks really well and rolled out very easy. Its also some heavy stuff out of the 4 rolls i have(each roll is 50sft) they weigh in around 25 pounds each.

That's what I was wondering. Glad it's been changed.

Been looking for some people in az but i live along ways away from most of the people i have seen on here. And all the shows and stuff take place near phoenix about 4 hours from me.

Google Sketchup, isn't made specifically for enclosures, but works quite well.

Ya its sketch up. Works really well takes some time to get used too but after you get the hang of it, its not too hard. Any ways i did a little bit more finished the Fat mat on the floors not much to see there and ran some up the pillars. Re-ran my Rca's and my remote turn on down the center of the car. Also found something i forgot i had in my car the pioneer I-pod control thing for the dvd 3100. So i pulled it out and freed up a little space in my dash.

And all the front trim is back in just have to put my seat's back in up front. I am leaving the rear seats out until my new box is built and in.

expanding foam. Used it to make a mold / base off of.

Lol no mold for the expanding foam but after 12 cans of big gap filler my hatch and all the open areas in the back of my car no longer make any noise.
