Going to install a dual setup in my car during the winter months. The box has 1.17 cu ft. air space. and 8.5" depth. I can have a port put in if you guys think it would make a difference. Wanting to make sure everything is good before I start ordering stuff. Thanks

The box has to be made to fit in the cubby hole in the rear. Here's the approx. box specs

Width 37-1/4 Length 13-3/4 Depth 9-1/2"

Should be just enough volume for a nice, custom ported enclosure.

Yeah,I'm looking for Loud.No particular number in mind.I used to have a single ten inch in a stealth enclosure and it was pretty loud due to the way the hatch would make it sound louder. There's always some guys/gals that I run into at work that have systems they think is loud, there system is,but not that loud.Figure I would try to do something in my off time to show them what loud really is.I've wanted to try the SA-12,so I figure why not now.

Ok so you're looking for a loud daily setup.

A single 12" SA-12 would be great. I would recommend porting it though.

2cuft after all displacement tuned to 35Hz should be very nice in your application.

Your dimensions are right at 2 cubes without displacements.

Subtract 0.14ft^3 for the sub and if want to save space use 1 4" Precision "Aero" Port with a length of 13.875" should get you right at 1.78ft^3 tuned to 35HZ.

Great.

Port displacement is going to kill you unless you can go external.
