Haunted Hills of Arietta

Then I built a cabins front porch that many Polk County folk would have been envy of.

Joe aged it.

As you stepped out of clausterphobia, your hit with a strong popcorn scent, black lights, bright florescent paints and glowing bubbles. Your in the clown room. Loud eerie big top music playing also. (it was a stretch to have clowns, but people never asked).

The "J" panel was a drop panel and the actor inside hovered above you and had a loud 12v horn. Many a person fell down here.

And this was the EXIT.

Or was it?

As you came out, a worker instructed you to follow the path and exit out the gate.

many people let their guard down and laughed about what had just happen to them.

Thats when another actor dressed in all black ran on his hands and feet outta the bushes at you. As you screamed and ran, another actor was already running up behind you cutting off your escape.

Once past them your at the gate and then the last guy pops from around the fence setting up the last scare.

We had 4 admitted pee-ers. I just happen to have caught that one on video.

I still need to go thru my other video camera.

Till then, enjoy some profesional shot taken by our friend Denise from Knox Studios

Almost forgot this pic. This is an actor in the cornfield set. He had people convinced he was fake.

Set shot blurred on purpose.

Some of our actors spots....

In the coffin walls area we had a girl in the shadows. Bloodied up night gown. Worked real good.

The walkway with the rock path had a drop down panel. This same actor also worked the drop down panel by the vine creature.

Actor in ghillie suit under snake,

Actor in black right after the spider.

For 2 nights we had an actor at the end of the hall right after you exited the black hallway. Where people wouldn't read the exit sign. It was flapped off but thats where the controls were for the dogs animatronics incase we needed access to them. After that 2nd night, I paneled it off since the dog was working fine and freed that actor up.

Sometimes we had someone in the corn.

The scarecrow.

Old guy on the rocking chair.

We had the zombie hunter with a shotgun (bang stick type), not real, sounded like a loud firecracker, in the cabin behind a false wall. He was dressed exactly like the CG prop.

A clown in the box.

3 roaming actors in the back exit.

A roamer or 2 up front.

And several of these as duplicates so I could switch people out for breaks.
