couple questions for our canadian breatheren

Recommended Posts

Aight my canadian breatheren. Seems as though I get to spend couple of weeks at a certain facility in Valcourt Quebec. I'll be heading up there the last two weeks in February. Got a couple of questions for the experts as this is my first trip to the great white north :D

1. What is there to do in the area ? I will be taking a couple seminars during the day. But will have free time at night and a weekend.

2. What kind of weather should I expect this time of year ?

3. Is canadian beer as good as they say ? :D

Any help would be much appreciated :)

1. No idea, seeing as I am about 3200 miles from there. How close is it to Quebec City or Montreal?? Lots of things to see in both cities, I think the ice festival is in Quebec City this month. Google searches go a long way there.

2. Winter... snow, below freezing temps, wind. The whole country has been really warm this winter, so you may get some nice weather.

3. Yes.

French Canadians arent real canadians.

When i drove through Quebec it was by far the worst rain stoem ive ever been in. Couldnt see out the windshield at all.

Shoudnt be a problem this time of year though

I forget where my friend who used to live in canada lived (like what provedence) but i also know a girl up in canada, she lives where ever the Gleeb is... that is the onlything i remembered because i thought it was freaking hilarious. She might live near Qubec because he best friend was part french canadian and lived 30min away from her.

Ive never been north of Virgina, so ill ask and just pass on what i learn :)

I know plenty of Proulx's around here.

I remember growing up with one - we'd go to hockey tournaments and he'd score a goal, they'd announce "Goal scored by number nine, ______ P ... Prowlex ........ assist by ..."

Prowlex
