ok ok so i had a lil show today....

and i heard some stupid ass shit come out of peoples mouth... . and some shit that made me prove my point of running 15's

IE

"yeah fam thats why i like 12's you can hear them hoes from far away!.

"i like 15's cause them hoes hit low you cant get that sound from a 10"

but the good out of what i run..

i got two 15's but they dont hit like that "

so anyway im thinking in the black town car i can do anything... and i was thinking 2 or 3 18's ... then i was thinking 4 15's .... but now im thinking maybe a gang of 8's in a trunk.. on 4K or so... and just disprove all that bullshit .

im drinking right now so lemme know what you think..

Since your sticking with sundown gear, get some sa8s.

Do a bunch of experimenting with enclosure volume, port positioning and firing position and just work on getting it loud as hell for what it is.

Tuning high, experimentation with enclosures and your sexuality, 4 sa8s, lots of power, and I bet it would impress anyone that gets a demo.

That's stupid. A huge waste of money on a shit ton of drivers. You can't use any of the space above the enclosure, just more cabin volume to pressurize. Mine as well just fucking wall the thing.

It's not very impressive to be loud with a shit load of drivers because it's not really that hard. Whether it's a trunk car or not. Just saying.

I know if it was me, I would be much more impressed with a few drivers and high output then a ton of drivers and even higher output.

But that's always the debate with show cars...

Maybe a single enclosure with 1 8, 1 10, 1 12, 1 15. Then you can say "see, they can all hit the same notes!? *clap* *clap* *clap* Yippie!" rofl.

I would say the average setup is 2 12s. So you could expand on that through the enclosure and power. Pardon my French, but then them bitches can go "Ah shit my twelves don't hit like that, ah shit ah shit."

They're actually very good drivers. I will installing four of them in my truck once I get it on the road.

Sure you could just wall it, but skipping straight to the "most effective" method (quoted because technology and ideas change so fast, there is rarely one technique that is the most effective) but that's not what he wants. I know this is opinion, but an Astro van doin 10's in the quarter mile is a shit ton more impressive than a mustang doin 9's to me. Its more impressive to overcome disadvantages than to just do what works.

Anyway, bigjon, you could always do a 21. They wouldn't know how to feel.

so, if your thinking about impressing folks within this "range",(pun)....

then your correct, gotta go big.

now, when stefan says folks will be surprised of small driver with decent numbers, he's at a point there....the trunk bling could be less, but the "holy crap" factor will still be there still!

on this note....ponder some what stealth install, with smaller drivers, and big sound? could also be a "wow" factor for your intended audiance.
