measuring aero port length

Recommended Posts

So my build calls for my 4" aeros to be about 38" long so I have to do some piping in my box with 90 and 45 degree turns. When measuring I'm assuming I stay in the middle the whole time and measure flare tip to tip? The turns are what throw me off when measuring.

Thanks guys

Are these true Aero's? Precision Ports? If so, They will come with directions and formula's you will need to calculate the port length.

I think there's a misunderstanding here. I'm just asking how you measure it, I know it is simple but I'm just not sure. I have 1 90 and 1 45 degree angle turn on each of my ports.

Can't you measure the total length of the elbow, then subtract the amount on each side where the pipe slips in?

Inner length plus outer length divided by two. (Il+ Ol)/2
