okay this will be the official USAmps picture thread.... you got some pictures? post em

here is some news:

* New and improved AX Line

* Unveiling of a 6 ft. long amplifier (note: upon further questioning, this "amp" at the show is just a giant heat sink, showing the possibility of the Multiple link technology. this is NOT an actual amplifier, just a chassis) Larry, you were right.

* Brand new Xterminator Line to replace the IS

* USamps drivers and comp sets (TB released in the future)

thats all i could think of so far. im going to get some in depth info tomorrow.

i know i personally think the cosmetics can be touched up a little on the speakers...my first impression even on the mids was: ALpine. but like LArry said, these are jsut an introduction, maybe they will change the looks sometime down the road before release

any idea how the specs on the exterminators are gonna be? and how they will compare to the i/s and merlin?

right now, no.... but the one in the picture will do over 1kw bridged. thats all i know lol

and i updated 6ft amp comment. miscommunication there.

Nope! unfortunately not. when i went to the factory yesterday, the power went out right wen i got there.

and i think the only speakers are in the mini cooper

half of the cars at ces sounded horrible. the us amps was in the group that actually sounded good. vocals weren't dull, subs were hittin', but it wasn't cranked full bore to hear the whole capabilities.

the Xterminator series is looking sweet, but the speaker simliaraties to Alpine is clear, heck that last sub is a dead looker for the Type X
