In my sig is link to my son's build(Sounstream products), my daily driver(2-SA8s), and current project Grasshoppers Hoe(2-DCON 10s). Also 2 other freinds (1 has a single SA12 and the other with 2-SA10s).

hahaha this thread is pointless, why in the world would you want to run 8k to 1 subwoofer??? Your just asking to throw your money down the toilet, i really recommend that you rethink what your about to do.... If you want to run 8k watts first get your electrical up to par and then run 8k to something that will actually take 8k day in day out.....

in my opinion id rather do 2 12's or some 10's on that amount of power that would actually take the 8k your trying to run. Better to have more cone area with power spread throughout them instead of ramming 8k into 1 15 and straining it...unless its strictly for competitions, but hey what do i know

No reason to design around being able to handle 8KW. IIRC you said you were competing, but even still you should start a little bit smaller and get some experience before you attempt to build a system like that. Even for competition use 8KW is a shit load of power.

Those Soundstream amps aren't cheap and really are no different than the old 6500d and 10000d. Guts wise.

Sounds like you need research a little more instead of throwing out ideas for people to agree on.
