Or Epoxy.

And is usually suggested if you haven't done a recone before. Since your asking that question, I'll assume you haven't.

Highly suggest 15 minute epoxy if it is your first time reconing..

I dnt plan on reconing it. My friend is and he has before but he wanted to kno what the best kind of glue was since he probably didn't use the best kind the first time. And epoxy dries too hard.

Dries to hard eh? I have a epoxy reconed sub going on 3 years, and I beat the ever living shit out of it. Soooooo yeah. Be my guest and use "softer" glue, don't come back and complain the glue joints failed.

Just did mine with 30 minute epoxy, from what i can tell from scraping the spider off the basket, the glue Fi uses is "hard" too. gotta wear eye protecting chipping it off lol.

Only place "soft" glue will benefit is the dustcap, so it will have more give before the cap blows off. This is still rare though, and nothing to worry about.

I've never had one come off with epoxy. I have had em come off with CA glue, but I used accelerator, and it wasn't the best glue joint, so it was completely my fault.(I was a reconing noobie, first one I did)
