Okay, so I just hooked up all of my system last night. It worked flawlessly all last night, and this morning. So today, after work, I got in my car, turned on my radio, and my amp and everything turned on and my sub was playing, but I now have no music. At all. I know this is probably a n00b thread, but please help! I'm dying without my sub lol

Hmm. Maybe something with your wires on amp or wires on speakers or headunit.

I'll check it out.. it was super hot today, you think that had anything to do with it?

u need to do somethings yourself.

Go get a multimeter, a set of eyes, at least 1 ear and 2 hands and start inspecting, testing and looking at your install.

You state the sub is working, then state you're dying without your sub. Which is it? First thing, check your fuses.

I doubt heat is a factor in Iowa. Like said above check all your wires and fuses as well.

Okay guys, sorry I got off onto the wrong foot. I was basically asking if anyone had encountered a similar problem. My amp turns on. My sub plays. I do not have music. My speaker wires are fine. My fuses are fine. It played fine 4 hours prior, but when I got in to head home, my head unit would not play music. It also would spaz out on me, going in and out with the disc. It is an Eclipse 5440.

Also might check to see if you shut your HU amps off. I have that option on mine for running everything through external amps. Sub plays, music doesn't. Just a thought.

It gives off a little bit of static when it turns on, but nothing comes out of them. I'm just gonna get rid of it, I just bought a cda-9884 for cheap lol.
