Help with tuning amp for sub?

My friend just bought an SA 15 with a SAZ 1500D v2(used)

I told him that amp is too much for that sub but he said nah he knows what he's doing. Now he's calling me and asking me how can he power the sub without blowing it. Lol.

I don't know what to tell him as I've never overpowered a sub and wanted good results before lol. Any tips on how to do so? Thanks in advance.

Just don't blast it continously and dont set the gains up. Are you talking about Danny's setup in the tC?

Best advice would be to set the gain to minimum. Set your crossover frequencey (User Preference) then set the SSF filter to roughly + or - 5hz of tuning of the enclosure. Then adjust the gain and listen for stress on the sub. I normally use a very heavy bass track.
