btl recone flatwound coils

Alright im not realy sure about this so ill ask it here. I ordered 2 18in D2 Single stack recones with highxmax coils but there not flatwound. Is my order wrong? im under the assumption that these should be flatwound for better power handling and cooling.

High xmax coils are not flat wound.

Flat wound coil makes a btl have 18mm of linear travel.

weird i didnt know that either i thought they were high xmax flatwound coils i swear my btl N2 18s look like the wire is flatwound and i got high xmax too...

No..the Dual 1 coil is a semi flattened (in the high xmax) the dual 2ohm is completely round.

The true flat wire is a short coil and knocks xmax down by 10mm.
