Do you think two SA-15's can handle 2500w rms?

Recommended Posts

I want the Sundown Audio SA-15. Two of them.

And a SAZ-2500D. One of it.

Will I overpower the subs?

I know, i know, the specs say 600rms but I want to hear some experienced people tell me how hard they bang and if they can handle more.

Just looking for some nice project ideas.

Yes you can do it, but you need to watch where you set the gain. Having extra power is never bad if you are smart about it.

No IF you know what you are doing. If not go a different route. First hand experience I have with that sub is having an Sa10 on a 1500rms amp without any problems.

If your careful I guess you could but why? Depending on what it is you're trying to accomplish you may be better off running less power to those subs or choosing different subs. I assume you do realize the electrical upgrades necessary to run that kind of power.

If you have to ask... I think it's better to go a different route.

if u damage them.. then you do not know what you are doing..

One of my buddies at one of our meetups ran 2 SA-12s on a Saz-3500d for 3min on a lil jon song without problems.

I burped an SA-12 once on an AQ3500d. It bottomed out a few times but i still was able to get the score out of it.

Two completely different drivers, but the answer is essentially the same. The NS has more power handling obviously.

Honestly I think you might want to do a little more research. Decide what it is you want out of your system and go from there. The NS and SA are very different and generally meant for different uses. I just felt like I should say this so you don't go out and spend your money on the wrong equipment or worse break your new equipment
