OG Dual SSA ICON 15" Build.

Recommended Posts

This is a very fun little build for one of the guys who was there at the very start of SSA. Back in 2001 Travis was my roommate, and helped me build lots and lots of customer rides. In 2007 he bought 4 of our very first ICONs, they've sat ever since he bought them in the sealed boxes.

We the other day we cracked a few of them open, and decided to put them in his 2002 Ford F150.

We fired it up today for the first time, and below is the results on just 1500wRMS.

Travis did just about all of this himself. I helped with some wiring and misc. stuff.

I really like how MTX amps have all of their dials and wire inputs along the bottom of the amps. Just looks super clean to me, makes me want some MTX amps :P

Saw the video on youtube, looks great! :morepower1:
