And I don't fuse alt positive to battery wire. Some do, some don't.

Just get little rubber rings to put between the plate and the amp when mounting it. Should help with the vibrations.

Clean car :eek5wavey:

Alright, I have some rubber mat that I was thinking about putting between the amp and enclosure. What do you think about that? The rubber is about an 1/8 of an inch thick.

And I don't fuse alt positive to battery wire. Some do, some don't.

I see. I'm just concerned about the wire insulation rubbing against the metal under the hood and eventually shorting out my battery/alt.

sweet ride and nice box! i would prob use about 2-3 layers of your mat on the mounting feet to help vibration. keep up the work!

Stifling the rear will help with the weight, body roll and in the corners. A lower pro. tire will help to, good looking car man!

Thanks for the advice. I may look into dropping the front of the car to level the car out with the back

Sweet car. I noticed your shift boot. Auger or just ebay? A buddy has an si and got the same boot from Auger. On his it looks like it should have been stock because of the stitching in the seats. That 15 should slam in that car. How do you like the Greddy exhaust? I've never heard one but I've heard a Vibrant and it sounded amazing Im guessing the Greddy would be pretty stellar too

I actually bought the car with the boot. Until now, I thought it was stock. Lol

Looks good. I got rid of mine months ago since i needed something bigger. One of my buddies still has his

Ahhhhh, I really want to turbo. However, my car is a daily driver and I need it to be reliable. So I was thinkin supercharger or leave it NA. Maybe slight motor work?

Intake, header, exhaust, intake manifold and kpro would be cool

Yeah, just use a couple layers if you want. If you're worried about the insulation shorting out put some split loom around the wire or put the wire in a different spot. Use zip ties to make sure there is minimum movement.

YESSS! rsx creww!! haha that's lookin real nice man i've got a Satin Silver 02 type-s but my system's gonna be a lot smaller haha. I'm liking those mods how did the header effect engine noise? is it still DD worthy (i've been considering the same RH)? Mine still looks pretty ricey from the previous owner but I plan to change that this summer

I haven't investigated into that yet. I will soon, but I don't plan on playing this thing loud all the time. I'll go deaf and my car will fall apart lol.

Ha yea. It seems like it would be a low end monster, but the hatch gets pushed open on low notes. LOL I wish i could see what numbers it would do with the hatch and sunroof sealed up.

Will do then I'll tune the system with imprint and do some SQ testing

WOOOT!! lol Honestly, I didn't hear much of a difference between my cat back with stock header and my cat back with crsx header. It just sounds a little meaner!! But I think the cat back is the main reason for noise in the cab.

skipped them because the looked like they were recorded with a phone from 1990 lol. But once you get to flicker they're much better. Little, but clear.

Tearing the car apart, looks loud!

Haha then again you have a greedy ti-c which is supposedly a good bit quieter than the hks cat-back I've Got.. But I still have to get my system done first so we'll see if I even have the munnies for a RH :( o and where did you run your power wire for this thing?

The ti-c came with a 1'' diameter silencer that was inserted into the exhaust.. It was super quiet with this. It was a lot louder after I took it out. So idk which is louder. But I ran the power wire under the car. I can take pictures whenever I get the chance.

Now, to get back on track.

Now installed:

-Stinger 200 amp battery isolator

-Stinger Red Volt meter (back battery drops to about 13.5V)

Fixed:

-Rubber mounted amp

-Back seats now latch into their stock locations

-"False rear deck" back into its stock location

-Trimmed ports 1'' so they are a little further away from the back wall
