ok, the problem is there is a noticable humming noise comming from my t1500-1bd, and its from the amp, not speakers nor subs

it is a high pitch noise, and the worst is that when i turn the bass knob, the bass is louders, but then suddenly you start hearing the pitch noice more, and distorts, thats when i need to lower the bass knobs

any suggestions

thanks

Your ground is good? Paint scraped off, bare metal?

if you have another amp laying around you could try swapping them. if the other one does the same thing your wiring may be the problem, if it works fine your amp may be damaged or something :ughdunno:

I would check all of your wiring first...You dont want the wires just laying all around on top of eachother. And make sure you have a good ground.

I had a humming noise that would hum along with my rpms as i drove, very high pitch and annoying. All I did was re-ground my amps and made sure all my wiring was seperated and it went away... :dancing:

If it is a real high pitched squeel coming from the amplifier itself and not through the speakers it is the torroids screaming..

It happened on some of the 800.4's and the 1500's...nothing you can do about it either.
